Laws Restricting Teenagers' Access to Abortion. American Civil Liberties Union. http://www.aclu.org/reproductive-freedom/laws-restricting-teenagers-access-abortion
1. This article is not really current because it was written in 2001 and it is 2013. That is not very current. This article is relevant because it talks about teens getting their parents involved voluntarily. The authority of the web site seems to be reliable. The web site is not a government but they reliable; they like to write about the different rights of Americans and controversial topics. This information from this article seems to be accurate. It has data and facts to justify their argument. This article does serve its purpose.
2. This article will help with my paper because it does not focus on one group of girls; it includes the girls who involve their parents in their abortions. This article also gives facts and statics I can use in my paper.
3. The article Laws Restricting Teenagers' Access to Abortion talks about girls in the United States younger than 18 years old needing parental consent to have an abortion. This article also states all the different ways girls can have abortions with out their parents consent.
4. The article raises the question "do the girls really not know the danger they are putting them and their unborn child's in?" Most the time the girls probably view the child as a blob of tissue that is not alive until the tired trimester. That is probably what the girls are taught because most people believe that a fetus is not alive at conception.
The article also raises the question "why do the medical providers not want to allow parental consent?" The abortion clinics might not be parent approved with the clinics cleanliness. The clinics also might be hiding something that young scared girls might not understand but parents would.
