How to Respond to a Source

I feel like Maurice Issermen wants to state her true view of plagiarism, which is that it is both bad and good. I find this very confusing, because something cannot be good and bad at the sometime. Issermen seems to want her audience to know that it is a bad thing to plagiarism, but it can be a good thing when  used for academics. I find her response very shocking because most people working with higher education disagrees with plagiarism.
A question that might come form this quote is did Issermen ever Plagiarize? She seems to believe that there is no good vs. bad. That brings up the question what is her stance on good vs. evil.
