'Interstate Abortions' for Minors Targeted in Bill: Baptist Press http://www.bpnews.net/BPnews.asp?ID=39755

1. This article was written on February 22, 2013. That is today's date; which means that it is very current. This article talks about how the government needs to protect the rights of the parents and daughters when it comes to abortions. It is relent to my topic about parental consent because it says how that right needs to be protected. When I Googled Baptist Press website about us, it said that they were founded in 1946 and is sponsored by the Southern Baptist Convention. The Southern Baptist Convention is a very reliable organization. The article also seems to be accurate with the information written. And the purpose is the same as mine, to convince people that parents need to be involved with their daughters abortions.

2. This article will work for my paper because there is a Biblical worldview behind it. The article also very current and up to date.

3. The article 'Interstate Abortions' for Minors Targeted in Bill is about how things are happening without the parents of the young girls knowing, such as the girls going into a different state just to avoid the law of their own state. The article also states that the father of the unborn babies are normally older than 18 years old and they take the girls, who are minors, to the different states to avoid the girls parents.

4. This article Raises the question, " how do the parents not know their daughters are pregnant?" Do the girls parents not notice that their daughter is pregnant? I would like to know how much the parents are involved in their daughters lives. Most good parents would know there is something different about their daughters.
Another question the article raises is "how do the parents not know that their daughters had an abortion?" It is proven that most girls who get an abortion, they are normally emotionally distressed. Most parents would notice that their daughter is not acting the same and being different. Are parents now a days not paying attention to their kids. Probably not because parents are becoming younger, there is not big age gap between parents and their kids anymore.
